The Galleria project has been designed with a classical fascade that encloses a contemporary core. The developed consists of 12 stories, 3 basement levels, more than 400 hotel rooms, numerous retail units and several restaurants and assembly rooms. The central core of the building is formed by an eight storey mall, where it is envisaged that the first two stories will be for boutiques and the remaining floors for hotel use. The individual rooms are offered views across the Jeddah skyline as well as views into the lively mall.

The progress of the scheme has reached the final design stage, so that construction can commence in the summer of 2010. The excavation and shoring works shall be completed by July 2010.
