Project details

Sharing a common design theme with Dubai Headquarters building, the Abu Dhabi TRA facility establishes an easily recognizable identity reflecting the authority’s role in the UAE’s development as a regional ICT hub.

Promoting TRA brand awareness, the project successfully manifests main TRA values: innovation, efficiency, sustainability. Taking commitment to sustainability as a focal point of the whole development, architects created a concept, which would maximize the efficiency of the design and all building systems. Starting with the building orientation, which allows for the penetration of maximum natural light, and ending with bicycle racks for the employees and visitors, all the Headquarters carefully elaborated elements work together to create a harmonious and sustainable system. Smart lighting, air conditioning control, grey water recycling, photovoltaic panels together with other state-of-the-art technologies are used to reduce environmental impact and to increase energy and resource savings, as well as to enhance pleasant experience of the facilities inhabitants.

The design is created in partnership with CUH2A.
