Karl Kling was born on December 18, 1928 in Krumbach, Germany . After studying civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich, he opened an engineering office for civil engineering in 1954, which was followed by the founding of a building ground institute according to DIN 1054 in 1969 and Kling-Bohrtechnik GmbH in 1971.

Kling Consult began its global expansion with the Television Tower project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which was the tallest structure in the country at that time.

The first Middle East branch office was established in Dubai, UAE. marking a significant regional presence and becomes the begining of landmark projects in MENA region.
Kling Consult began involvement in the Dubai Design District (D3) project, Phase I, which was successfully launched in April 2015. This becomes a landmark in the region.
Piling works commenced for the Katara Towers in Lusail, Qatar, a project designed and fully lead by Kling Consult. An iconic “crossed swords” twin towers.
