Project details

Kling Consult was appointed to design a state-of-the-art warehouse and in-flight facility with the aim to support Doha Airport in its efforts to become one of the top cargo airports in the world. The complex consists of two buildings – a 16,000 sq.m. warehouse operated by Qatar Duty Free and a 2,500 sq.m. In-Flight Facility operated by Qatar Airways.

Starting from the design stage the project was full of challenges arisen due to special logistic and airport security requirements, but Kling Consult specialists have experience in dealing with projects of any degree of complexity. As a result, project team commitment and professional creative approach led to the new facility full and faultless integration with the existing development.

Sophisticated design offers flexible interior space, practical logistic solutions and airport special security systems making the whole operation process smooth and efficient.

Ultra-modern structure is incorporated with solar panels and skylight elements, which results in 40% energy savings.
