Project details

Al Ruwais Hospital, one of the most advanced hospitals in the region, is located 10 km outside Al Ruwais. It belongs to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and provides comprehensive medical care to ADNOC employees and Al Ruwais citizens.

Kling Consult was assigned by ADNOC to design new hospital facilities in order to avoid deficit in medical services, which was anticipated as a result of expected increase in population of Al Ruwais city. Using its best practices Kling Consult performed a truly outstanding transformation and expansion of Al Ruwais Hospital. New healthcare facility is fit out with modern medical equipment and includes 2 operating theatres, dental and out-patient clinics, intensive care unit, radiology, nursing area with maternity and paediatric wards, and surgery ward for males and females, emergency unit, as well as public areas, administrative suit and laboratories.

New Al Ruwais Hospital design thoroughly elaborated by Kling Consult architects ensures maximum comfort and convenience for its patients, visitors and personnel. This is achieved by creating roomy and airy spaces organized in a way to guarantee easy orientation and privacy at the same time. With maximum penetration of natural light and minimalistic though aesthetically pleasing interior design, an atmosphere of luxurious resort rather than a medical facility was created. Helicopter pad was relocated closer to the hospital entrance to ensure quick transportation of emergency patients.

Being involved in such a socially meaningful project and having delivered latest medical technologies to the city of Al Ruwais, Kling Consult did its part in transforming life of the whole community to the best.
