Project details

Catering to the growing demand for budget accommodation Al Wasl is developing branded Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in the Old Dubai area – Souq Al Kabeer. The building design created by Kling Consult is a modern interpretation of Arabic heritage architecture expressed through the use of natural stone, small openings and traditional mashrabiya elements. Façade corner wall is made to look bold and sturdy imitating wind tower.

Located in the heritage part of the city the project has both its unique advantages and restrictions. Particular risks associated with the close proximity of Dubai Metro tunnel required very specific risk assessment, which was conducted by Kling Consult experts to receive special authority approvals.

To turn Client’s vision into reality and create a budget hotel with high standards Kling Consult had to continuously practice value engineering, which will result in the biggest Hilton Garden Inn in the region with breathtaking views of the Gulf and the Creek.
