Project details

The project - Kalba Ice Factory is an initiative of the Sharjah Art Foundation to preserve and promote arts in the region.

It includes retrofit of the main ice factory building and the staff building while the other buildings proposed are new supporting the gallery.

The new buildings include a pavilion style restaurant and a walkway across the plot connecting to the creek, temporary residing facilities for the visiting artists, service block for the MEP services and a Prayer Hall.

The project thereby undertakes demolition, retrofit and new construction.
